‘INFORMED PEOPLE AND PROTECTED DATA’
The Management / Governing Body of COOL ZONE SL (from now on, the data controller) assumes the highest responsibility and commitment to establishing, implementing, and maintaining this Personal Data Protection Policy, ensuring the continuous improvement of the data controller to achieve excellence in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 119/1, 04-05-2016), as well as the Spanish regulations on personal data protection (Organic Law, specific sectoral legislation, and its implementing regulations).

In this regard, the data controller shall adhere to the following principles, which must serve as a guide and reference framework for all personnel in the processing of personal data:
- Data Protection by Design: The data controller shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures—both when determining the means of processing and during the processing itself—such as pseudonymization, to effectively apply data protection principles, including data minimization, and to integrate the necessary safeguards into the processing.
- Data Protection by Default: The data controller shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that, by default, only the personal data necessary for each specific purpose of the processing are processed.

- Data Minimization: Personal data shall be adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.
- Accuracy: Personal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. Reasonable steps shall be taken to ensure that inaccurate personal data is erased or rectified without delay, in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.
- Limitation of the Retention Period: Personal data shall be retained in a way that allows the identification of data subjects only for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing the personal data.
- Integrity and Confidentiality: Personal data shall be processed in a manner that ensures adequate security, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, as well as against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, through the implementation of appropriate technical or organizational measures.
- Information and Training: One of the key elements to ensuring personal data protection is the training and information provided to personnel involved in data processing. Throughout the information lifecycle, all personnel with access to data will be adequately trained and informed about their obligations in relation to compliance with data protection regulations.
The Data Protection Policy of COOL ZONE SL is communicated to all personnel of the data controller and made available to all interested parties.
Consequently, this Data Protection Policy applies to all personnel of the data controller, who must be familiar with and fully embrace it, considering it as their own. This Policy will be reviewed by the Management / Governing Body of COOL ZONE SL as often as deemed necessary, in order to ensure ongoing compliance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHY DO WE USE THEM?
A cookie is a small information file stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet every time you visit our website.
In principle, a cookie is harmless: it does not contain viruses, trojans, worms, etc., that could harm your device. However, it does have some impact on your right to data protection, as it collects certain information about you (such as browsing habits, identity, preferences, etc.).
For this reason, based on the applicable regulations (LSSI and current personal data protection laws), activating certain types of cookies will require your prior consent.
Before proceeding, we will provide some additional information that will help you make an informed decision:
1.Cookies can be of different types depending on their purpose:
Technical cookies are necessary for our website to function and do not require your authorization. These are the only ones enabled by default.
The other cookies are used to improve our website, personalize it based on your preferences, or display ads tailored to your searches, tastes, and personal interests. You can accept all these cookies by clicking the ACCEPT button, reject them by clicking the REJECT button, or configure them by clicking the COOKIE SETTINGS section.
2. Some cookies are our own (we will refer to these as first-party cookies), and others belong to external companies that provide services for our website (we will refer to these as third-party cookies—for example, cookies from external providers such as Google). In this regard, it is important to note that some of these external providers may be located outside of Spain.
Globally, not all countries have the same level of data protection, with some being more secure than others (for example, the European Union is a secure environment for your data). Our policy is to work with trusted providers who, regardless of whether they are located within or outside the European Union, have adopted appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information.
However, in the section titled “WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE CURRENTLY USED ON OUR WEBSITE?”, you can review the privacy and data protection policies of each of these external providers, enabling you to make an informed decision regarding whether or not to activate the third-party cookies used on our website.
Cookie Types Based on Duration
3. It is important to note that, depending on how long they remain active, cookies can be categorized into two types:
-Session Cookies: These expire automatically when you finish your session on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. They are typically used to retain the necessary information while a service is being provided to you in a single session.
-Persistent Cookies: These remain stored on your computer, smartphone, or tablet for a set period, which can vary from a few minutes to several years.
